The chairman of the CBFC has declared that the movie of Resham has been covering some factors which can’t be shown at the public. The image of Pakistan is not appropriate so the movie has been banned and can’t be released

The conclusion was made by a section of the CBFC and presently a full-board meeting was called to reassess the decision in the incidence of an extensive 11-member panel. All cinemas in the Islamabad are the Capital Territory and cantonments which approximately fall within the CBFC’s ambit are not being released.

It was originally slated to release on August 28, but was later on pushed to September 11. Pakistani film Swaarangi which was superior to go to discharge on September 11 has been banned by Pakistan’s Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
